Trim Options: CNC 5 Axis Routing is used for trimming up to 5 sides of the same part with just one set up. This process has good accuracy and leaves a clean edge. CNC Milling or Routing is used for trimming heavier gage flat parts with good accuracy. CNC Punching allows heavy gage flat parts to be stamped with minimal or no tooling. Acrylic PVC(Kydex), ABS, Polycarbonate(Lexan), Polypropylene, HDPE, PETG, and other materials can be stamped. This process is faster and less expensive than milling and more accurate than die cutting. Stamping plastic with a punch press is good for high volume applications and the most economical way to trim plastic. Die Cutting can be used on most plastics up to .125". Tooling is inexpensive.
